So being an elementary education major I have found a new love for children's books. I am taking children lit this semester. It has been so fun to learn what books can teach children. My teacher is awesome, she was over 3000 children's books (A little on the obsessive side if you ask me haha), but she definitly knows what she is talking about. This week we had an assignment to read the Missing Peice Meets the Big O by Shel Silverstein. The first time I read this book I thought it was pretty boring, but my teacher taught me a different way to look at the book and it has become my new favorite. She read the book in the context of dating....You'll have to read it and see what you think about it.
