An update on the Warnicks

I have officially survived my first three weeks of student teaching. I got assigned to do my student teaching at Ammon Elementary school, teaching first grade. The first three weeks have been fun, hard, learning, and rewarding. I have seventeen first graders in my class. It has been such a change to go from teaching fifth to first, but a good change. First graders love their teacher! It has been fun for me to get to know them. First graders say the funniest things. They really just say it how it is. I come home from school having at least three new funny stories to tell Jeremy. My first graders keep me busy and on my toes. The days fly by just because I feel like I am running all day long. I really got lucky with my cooperating teacher she is awesome to work with. The drive to Idaho Falls on the other hand is not so awesome. I know I am a baby, but I hate the extra hour drive each day. Because I take the car everyday Jeremy has become a fan of walking to school and to his internship. He has been a trooper!

Here is a picture of my school. It is ancient.

Jeremy is finishing up his last semester of school. He has been pretty busy this semester with tutoring, being an economics grader, and his internship. Jeremy got an internship at the E-center here in town. He has really enjoyed his internship. He takes projects that people are trying to get started and analyzes ecomonic possibilities for the projects.

The weekdays are usually pretty busy for us. It's alright though, because it makes the weekends and the time we get to spend with each other that much better.
