We went camping this last weekend. Camping season here is from October to December. I know call me crazy, but it is true. We had to wait for the heat to die down. We had a very fun time relaxing and sleeping in a tent. It did however make me miss my Idaho pines, mountains, and cold mornings. Not quite the same camping experience as we are use too, but it was still lots of fun.
Most of our camping Crew. We love you H's. Thanks for always letting us come on adventures with you.
We have had a major drought this summer. As you can see from this sign that the area is a lake.... um..no lake.
Look at my little friend. An ARMADILLO!!! I have wanted to see a live armadillo since we have moved to Texas. I had only seen dead ones on the side of the road. We got an awesome picture of the ugly little guy. They are the weirdest looking creatures.

Jeremy was hysterically laughing over the name of this road. It is pretty funny. Who names a road kickapoo? KICKAPOO? I think that I will....
Oh how I wish I could go camping right now instead of having to stay inside because it is ALREADY too cold:(
ReplyDeleteoh how we miss your humor! you guys are hilarious and we miss just chattin with yall!
ReplyDeleteSo cool that you get to go camping in the "winter"! That would be the perfect time to go camping!
And, congrats on the armadillo- I remember seeing dead ones all over the place when we visited Lisa- the live ones have got to be worth something seeing as how they are so rare!
