Somedays teaching inner city is really hard....
Thank goodness for a cute husband that has been my sanity through it all. Thank goodness for a mom and sisters that are amazing teachers and friends. I have learned so much the past nine weeks. I can't believe it has only been nine weeks. I have sure been able to see first hand the blessings of the gospel. I'm so grateful to have the gospel in my life, and the be able to reap from its blessings.
And people have NO IDEA how hard until they do it. I am so proud of you, I know that there is not a single day that is easy but I promise you, the kids will always remember and appreciate the white teacher that cared about them.
ReplyDeleteChantelle, you are amazing, and brave, and the perfect person for the job. I can't think of a better person to love and teach those kids. I'm sure you're making a bigger impact in their lives than you can imagine. We miss you guys!!
