The Boys are in Town

My little brothers came to visit! We love, love, love when people come to visit.  We were so happy to have them. Tyce is leaving on a mission in Oct. We couldn't have been more happy to spend a week with my two brothers before Tyce leaves.We got to show them our stomping grounds. Starting with.....

The Astros- Okay, okay, we all know the Astros are not the best major league baseball team, but you can't complain about a $5 dollar ticket, a game, and an awesome firework show. Our team really tries to put on a good show. Every Friday night the Astros light fireworks after the baseball game.

Next we took them to the Zoo. I can't get enough of our zoo. It is awesome. I could watch the baby elephants ALL day long. They seem like they have little personalities. Keaton and I sat for at least 30 minutes in the hot sun just laughing and sweating while watching the baby elephants. It was so hot, but you can't take your eyes off of the little guys.

 

We fed the Giraffes lettuce.

We had flash floods, and major thunderstorms the WHOLE week my brothers were here. We went to a lot of our time visiting our local museums because of the rain. We went to the Natural History Museum, Holocaust Museum, Aquarium, an old car museum, and the waterwall The old car museum ended up being a dive, but that is another story.  We had a lot of fun, and are so grateful the boys came to visit.
